Family Easter Celebration

On the Saturday before Easter we slept in. Only till 8am but it was still very nice. I prepped the kids Easter baskets and easal while Josh snuggled with them some more upstairs. This year instead of getting them tons of candy that they don't need or really eat I spent the money on an easel from IKEA. After we ate breakfast and played with the easal a bit we dressed and got ready for a local egg hunt. When we arrived at the egg hunt it was already over. One of the ladies from the park told us that when they were getting the small kids together the older kids stormed the field and got all the eggs. This was very disappointing to my kids especially Zechariah. We walked through the petting zoo but Zechariah was terrified by most of the animals so Katy and Josh enjoyed them for a bit. After we left we went to a local pizza place for lunch. We had Hawaiian pizza, Yum! For the rest of the day we prepped for Easter and were lazy.
