Antigua Guatemala

This is one of the streets we have shopped on, ate at, and Katy and I got our nails done at place here too. Really far down there is a park that we have been to a few times.  It's a "Green Park" as Katy calls them, we usually sit on a bench have coffee and the kids watch the fountains or the silver painted man.

Another look at the market street just past the arch.

Some of the neat things you can find in the markets around here.

The fabrics are so pretty and colorful.

Our New & Temporary Home

We've been in Antigua for almost a month and we are really enjoying it.  Our spanish classes are intense but we are learning a lot.  This coming week both Josh and I are testing to see if we can move on to Grade B from Grade A. Katy is having fun with her teacher and learning spanish as well, and Z is having a fun time trying out the all the new foods. His new favorite is grilled corn on the cob.

Here is a look at where we live and go to school.   Enjoy!

The Home that we are living in in Antigua.

Had breakfast at McDonalds and got to sit in this lovely garden to eat.

Apple sodas for the kids and German beer for mom and Dad.

Some of our first days here I got to read and enjoy coffee in the cool morning breeze.
